Joe Green, CAPS-certified aging in place specialist

Meet Joe Green

A CAPS-certified specialist who plans for the next ten years, not just today.

Joe leads OMNI AccessAbility as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) — a credential from the National Association of Home Builders earned by builders trained in accessible design, mobility needs and the realities of living with changing ability.

He walks each home the way an occupational therapist would: how you get from the bed to the bathroom at 2 a.m., where the reach is too far, which threshold catches a walker. Then he translates that into carpentry — the smallest change that returns the most independence, and a plan for what may be needed later.

OMNI AccessAbility

The best accessibility features don't look like accessibility features. They look like a home that finally fits the person living in it.

The process

  1. 01

    In-home assessment

We walk the house with you, listen, and note the small hazards you have stopped seeing.

  2. 02

    Design & estimate

A written plan with drawings and a fixed price — no surprises, no upsells.

  3. 03

    Careful build

Our own crew. Dust barriers, daily clean-up, respectful of the home you live in.

  4. 04

    Follow-through

A 5-year workmanship warranty and a call six months later to make sure everything still fits your life.

What families tell us

“They rebuilt Mom's bathroom in nine days and she cried when she saw it. Not because of the fall. Because it was beautiful.”

Karen M. — Conroe

“Joe found three things in ten minutes that we'd walked past for years. Dad is showering on his own again, and nobody had to move.”

Dave R. — The Woodlands
